RULES & REGULATIONS

  • All players must wear shin pads, No metal studs allowed on the 4G pitch.

  • No signed Academy players allowed.

  • All standard FA rules and regulations for each format 5 V 5, 7 V 7 & 9 V 9

  • Goal size as standard FA guidance.

  • Ball size as standard FA guidance.

  • Max squad size - 5 V 5 = 10, 7 V 7 = 12 & 9 V 9 = 14

  • Offsides only count in 9 aside format

  • Claxon starts all matches and sounds after 10 mins - the referees whistle will end all matches with a 10 second grace on referees discretion for game changing decisions.

  • After a goal is scored the match is restarted as above.

  • Throw ins and corner kicks are as per FA guidance.

  • All free kicks are direct.

  • The goalkeeper cannot handle the ball from a back pass, if he does an indirect free kick shall be awarded on the edge of the penalty area nearest to where the offence took place.

  • All goal kicks shall be taken with the ball on the ground.

  • Each Match is 10 mins in duration. (unless stated on specific tournament formats)

  • 3 points for a win, 1 for a draw, 0 for loss.

  • Tables based on points, goal difference (where relevant), goals scored, head to head - If still level then a penalty shootout.

  • In knock out stage it goes straight to penalties if scores are tied, 3 penalties per team, thereafter its sudden death.

  • Only 2 coaches per team can stand on the pitch – Parents are not allowed on the pitch and have to stand behind the barriers.

  • The trophy presentation will be shortly after the final.

  • Above all the rules, Remember the ref is not professional please RESPECT the referees decision this is final - We operate a no tolerance rule where this is concerned or any official, player or coach.
